Second Church of Christ – Expansion Open House – (3350 E. Voorhees St, Danville) The open house includes the 14,000 square foot expansion with two auditoriums, nine new classrooms, five renovated classrooms, a Family lobby, & large game & interactive space; 1:30-3:00PM.

MLK Day Motorcade/Parade in Downtown Danville – The line up will begin at the corner of Main & Logan Streets 10:00AM; The procession will begin at 10:30AM. The parade will pause for a small ceremony at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Monument & end at the St. James United Methodist Church’s parking lot at 504 N. Vermilion.

MLK Day Celebration Service at St. James United Methodist Church – (504 N. Vermilion, Danville) Service will begin at 11:30AM with The Reverend Daniel J. Garrett, pastor of Spirit Redeemed Missionary Baptist Church in Chicago & the Danville MLK Mass Choir, under the direction of Mr. Brett Dupree, will perform. There is no admission fee.
