DLO Chorus at the Festival of Trees at Palmer Arena – (100 W. Danville Area Community College Closed in Observance of Veteran’s Day

Veteran’s Parade at the Danville Veteran’s Administration – (1900 E. Main, Danville)The parade will be held on the Veteran’s Administration campus with the Danville Police Honor Guard, local fire departments, Honor Guard, Lincoln’s Challenge cadets & honor guard, fair queens, vintage cars & much more; 10AM.  Parking will be available at the DACC Bremer Center lot.

Hoopeston Public Library Late Opening at Noon

Vermilion County War Museum 20th Anniversary Open House – (307 N. Vermilion St, Danville) Noon-4PM. Admission is Free but donations will be accepted.

U.S. Great Lakes Navy Band Veterans Day Concert at St. James United Methodist Church – (504 N. Vermilion, Danville) A free concert, with limited seating, as part of the 20th Anniversary Celebration of the Vermilion County War Museum; 5PM. Tickets are required & available at the Vermilion County War Museum at 307 N. Vermilion. Tickets can be picked up Friday Noon-4PM, Saturday 10AM-4PM.

DLO Musical Theatre Auditions for Bright Star at the Village Mall – Sunday & Monday – (2917 N. Vermilion, Danville) Held at the Center Stage Rehearsal Hall, Sunday 1-5PM; Monday 6:30-9:30PM. Looking for men, women, teens to audition - must be able to mimic a North Carolina Accent & please prepare a song in bluegrass, folk, or Appalachian style. The script is available for review at the front desk of the Danville Public Library.
