Ambassador Program

Purpose

The Ambassador Program is designed to create a welcoming presence for new members and strengthen engagement with existing members.

Ambassadors are volunteer members who represent the Chamber at events, build relationships, and expand awareness of Vermilion Advantage.

Goal

  • Welcome and Retention: ensure every new member feels supported and connected from day one
  • Visibility: strengthen Chamber presence at ribbon cuttings, networking events, and community gatherings
  • Engagement: encourage ongoing interaction with current members, fostering stronger loyalty
  • Growth: support Chamber membership and sponsorship growth by creating positive experiences

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Attend ribbon cuttings, groundbreakings, and networking events
  • Reach out to new members via welcome calls, emails, or visits
  • Serve as a friendly liaison at events, making introductions
  • Promote Chamber activities and opportunities to the community
  • Bi-monthly meeting to recap and inform


Participation is flexible but Ambassadors are expected to attend 5 events annually.

Vermilion Advantage staff will coordinate all activities, communications, and scheduling
