As a Shelter Specialist, you will provide essential support to individuals and families experiencing domestic violence and/or homelessness. In this role, you will help maintain a safe and welcoming environment, respond to individual needs, and provide confidential support using a trauma-informed approach. Responsibilities and Duties
Duties include but are not limited to:
Crosspoint Human Services offers comprehensive on the job 40 hour domestic violence training.
Work experience in domestic violence, social services, human services or related field preferred.
Possess the temperament to work closely with individuals and families experiencing domestic violence, homelessness, and co-occurring disorders in a therapeutic milieu.
Ability to work flexible hours including some weekends.
