The Dean of Career and Technical Education (CTE) provides general administration and leadership for the operations, procedures, and strategic plans of all career and technical programs. This role is responsible for ensuring program innovation and consistency, maintaining accreditation standards, developing and processing both curricular revisions and new program development, securing and administrating grants that have a CTE focus (e.g. Carl Perkins Grant), and fostering industry partnerships to support student success.
Education: Must possess a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration, Career & Technical Education, or equivalent.
Experience: Significant experience in higher education and knowledge of community and/or technical college environments, including grants administration.
Leadership: Demonstrated management or administrative experience.
