Crisis Intervention Counselor

Responsibilities and Duties:

Duties include but are not limited to:

·       Completes crisis assessments and all required documentation

·       Responsible for completion of the pre-admit admission forms

·       Facilitates linkage and meeting with appropriate Crosspoint program staff

·       Creates progress notes referencing treatment agreements, goals and objectives

·       Provides 65 billable hours per month

Schedule:  Monday through Friday 8Am to 5PM with alternating weekends 8Am to 8Pm.

Job Requirements:

·       Requires a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related human services field.

·       One year of mental health experience.

·       Must be capable of working with a multidisciplinary team.

·       Requires the ability to work a flexible schedule if needed to provide coverage for                           vacancies   or vacation time.

·       Requires a valid drivers license and proof of automobile insurance.
