Wage / Salary: $36,773.00
Duties / Responsibilities:

To serve the specific clerical and administrative support needs of the Division, including the Deans, Faculty, and Staff members.

The Administrative Assistant position functions as clerical and administrative support to Division Deans, Lead Instructors, Full-time and Part-time Instructors in each Division.

Days per week: Monday - Friday
Shift: 1st Shift
Qualifications:

Associate Degree of Applied Science in Business (or related degree). In lieu of an Associate Degree, individuals with a High School Diploma (or equivalent) plus 2-5 years comparable experience will be considered.

Intermediate to advanced typing skills. Must have ability to meet minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute within 30 days of hire

Demonstrated experience with standard office equipment, including computers, phone & voicemail systems, networked printers, scanners, fax machines and multifunction devices.

Demonstrated solid technology skills & basic proficiency in standard office software including word processing, spreadsheets, email applications, internet browsers, etc.

Must have technical ability to learn & independently navigate role-specific software programs (such as Colleague, Informer, EMS, Watermark, etc.) within 90 days of hire.

Proven ability to write and orally communicate clearly and fluently.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.

Ability to work independently while supporting multiple staff members.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
