Position will have split responsibilities of 1) turf and landscape maintenance activities and 2) building cleaning and maintenance. Turf and landscape maintenance may include removal of vegetation and tree work, the use of trimmers, hedgers, and occasionally power equipped mowers and chain saws. Building custodial work is also performed, along with supporting fulltime plant maintenance activities, as directed. Other duties as assigned. The position involves significant physical activity.
Position time range runs from approximately May-September 2026
-Maintain turf throughout the plant facility
-Identify weeds and remove
-Landscape trimming
-Tree cutting and pruning
-Clean plant site and buildings
Education - must be actively in pursuit of or hold a high school diploma, or GED and have relevant knowledge and/or expertise in this or a related field.
Experience - Operation of power driven riding mowers; operation of weed eaters and other lawn maintenance equipment
Must be 18 years of age and hold an Illinois Class D Vehicle Operators License without restrictions
