Sugar Shack Antiques is open Saturday & Sunday – (located at 9912 E 1980 N Rd – Oakwood/take I-74 to Oakwood exit 206 then proceed North 1 ½ miles) Sugar Shack Antiques is open the first weekend of the month from 9AM-5PM both days.  Sugar Shack Antiques offers one-of-a-kind antiques, old hunting, fishing, and western items, even antlers, hides, and horns.  You can purchase farm raised quality packaged meats from our very own KD Ranch-bison, elk, and Texas Longhorn beef.  Selections are seasonal but include: steaks, roasts, burger, brats, summer sausage, and even jerky.  Please call 217-260-9713 for more info.

Villains Con 2016 at Palmer Arena All Weekend – (100 W. Main, Danville) Vintage Villains & the BAPN bring you this event with Vendors, Celebrity guests, Artists & Writers!  This event includes: Coseplay contests, Video game & table Top tournaments & much, much, more!  Times are: Friday 3PM-Midnight, Saturday 10AM-Midnight, Sunday 11AM-5PM.  For daily events & tickets, visit  www.palmerarena.com.

“An Afternoon of A Cappella, Ladies’ Sing Along” at Harrison Park Clubhouse – (1300 W. Voorhees, Danville)  The Danville Sweet Adelines encourage women who love to sing to come out for Fun Songs, Door Prizes, & Refreshments; 2:00-4:30PM.

The Little Lorraine Theater Presents “Triple 9” All Weekend – (324 E. Main, Hoopeston) Shows are: Friday 7PM; Saturday 4:30PM & 7:00PM; Sunday 2:00PM & 4:30PM.  A gang of criminals & corrupt cops plan the murder of a police officer in order to pull off their biggest heist yet across town.  All movies are free will donation with all proceeds going to the Save the Lorraine Foundation

Springfest 2016 June 1-5 – (GM Foundry lot off G Street in Tilton) Featuring “Family Attraction” Carnival rides & games, great carnival food, & other vendors.  Weekend Bracelet nights are: Friday $20 from 6-11PM; Saturday $20 from 3-11PM; Sunday $16 from 2-7PM (Bracelets are per person, singles tickets also available).  Proceeds from this event will benefit the Danville Jaycees continuing projects in the community. 

Live Music at Gao Grotto – (2400 Denmark Rd., Danville) Enjoy live music with “Billy Gault”; 4-7PM.  All are welcome to our public events. 

Danville Municipal Band Kick-Off – (Lincoln Park, Danville) Come out & kick-off the 76th season & enjoy the sounds of summer; 7PM.  This event is Free to the public!
