Breakfast at Westville American Legion – (115 S. State St., Westville) Menu includes: Biscuits & gravy & Scrambled eggs; 7-11AM.  Cost is by donation.

Kennekuk Road Runners 18th Annual Lake Mingo Trail Run – (Kennekuk Park, 22296 Henning Rd., Danville) This is a 7.1 mile run with a 2 hour time limit; Registrations open 7:30AM, Start time 9AM.  The after party with food from Lickskillet Catering, drinks & prizes is Free to runners & workers, $5 for friends & family.  For more information or to register, visit www.kennekuk.com.

Middlefork Farmer’s Market in Potomac – (Gibson Area Hospital Parking Lot, Potomac) Held on the 2nd Saturday of each month, featuring locally made handcrafted items, food, farm products & seasonal produce; 8AM-Noon.  Booth space is $10 per month, Vendors can email MiddleforkSeedersandWeeders@gmail.com or visit Facebook.

Danville Farmers Market – The outdoor market is held on the Danville Public Library lawn & adjacent parking lot featuring locally grown produce, home-baked goods, & homemade gift items; 8AM-1PMLibrary activities include: Music by Terry Cottrell, harmonica; an information booth about The Land Connection; & crafts & stories featuring James & the Giant Peach; 9AM-1PM.  The main market season will run Wednesdays & Saturdays until October 15.

Giant Book Sale at Rabbitown Trade Center Friday & Saturday – (36 College St., Danville) Low prices from 10¢ - $1 on books, music & movies; 8AM-1PM.

Kickapoo Fire Department 2nd Annual Car Show at Vermilion County Fairgrounds – (17528 N 1180 East Rd., Oakwood) All makes & models are welcome with $15 registration per car.  Event also includes a 50/50 raffle, music, food & drinks; Registration 9AM, Car Show 10AM, Judging Noon.  For more information, contact Ryan Curley 217-918-3002, Nathan Baldwin 217-722-8743, or Kyle Bogard 217-597-9123.  All proceeds & donations will be used for new equipment.

Flag Day Program at Veteran’s Administration – (Social Activities Room, 1900 E. Main St., Danville)  The Illinois Elks Association will conduct this ½ hour program featuring the history of the American flag; 2PM.  This event is Free with Cookies & punch served following the ceremony.
