Rossville Church of Christ 3rd Annual Ugly Sweater 5K – (514 E. Danville Art League “Mixed Media” Workshop – (320 N. Franklin, Danville) Taught by Carol Garver with the theme of family; 9AM-3PM.  Bring something to share for lunch (soup is provided). Sugar Shack Antiques is Open Saturday & Sunday – (located at 9912 E 1980 N Rd – Oakwood/take I-74 to Oakwood exit 206 then proceed North 1 ½ miles) Sugar Shack Antiques is open the first weekend of the month from 9AM-5PM both days.  Sugar Shack Antiques offers one-of-a-kind antiques, old hunting, fishing, and western items, even antlers, hides, and horns.  You can purchase farm raised quality packaged meats from our very own KD Ranch-bison, elk, and Texas Longhorn beef.  Selections are seasonal but include: steaks, roasts, burger, brats, summer sausage, and even jerky.  Please call 217-260-9713 for more info.

Ugly Christmas Sweater Party at Queen Ann’s Cottage – (407 Ann St., Danville) Visit us in your ugliest Christmas sweater to be entered in our contest with the top 3 winners to receive a gift certificate! Samplings & refreshments will be available; 10AM-5PM.

Sweet Adelines Christmas Luncheon & Silent Auction at the Bremer Center - (2000 E. Holiday Wonderland Vendor & Craft Show at The Riggle – (400 Lyons Rd., Westville) Featuring a variety of booths for holiday shopping, snacks, & a cash bar will be available; 4-8PM.

The Little Lorraine Theater Presents “The Wild Life” - All Weekend – (324 E. Main, Hoopeston) Shows are: Friday 7PM; Saturday 4:30PM & 7:00PM; Sunday 2:00PM & 4:30PM.  These animal friend lives are disrupted when castaway, Robinson Crusoe, is shipwrecked on their island paradise. They soon find him an ally when 2 conniving cats try to seize control.  All movies are a free will donation with all proceeds going to the Save the Lorraine Foundation.

Vermilion County Rape Crisis Center Presents “Glo Bingo” at Knights of Columbus – (310 Bryan Ave., Danville) Cost is $25 per person which includes: 6 bingo cards per game (10 games), Glow hat & bingo dauber ($5 per additional 6 cards).  Doors open at 5PM, Bingo starts at 6PM.  Event also includes cash bar, DJ, music, 50/50 & over $1,000 in cash prizes (must be 18 or older to attend).  For advance reservations contact the VCRCC at 217-446-1337.  All proceeds benefit the Vermilion County Rape Crisis Center.

Senior Dance at Hoopeston Multi-Agency Service Center – (206 S. First Ave., Hoopeston) Cost is a $5 donation & participants are asked to bring a covered dish, dessert or snacks to share; 6PM.  Tex & the Tumbleweeds will play from 6:30-8:30PM.  

Ugly Sweater Party at VFW Post 728 – (8 Pine St., Danville) Doors open for Happy Hour 6-8PM and DJ from 8PM-Midnight.  Funds raised will be helping a family in need.

Danville Dashers Vs. Danbury Titans at the Palmer Arena – (100 W. Main, Danville) Game Time 7PM

Danville Municipal Band Christmas Concert at St. James United Methodist Church – (504 N. Vermilion, Danville) Admission is free to enjoy the sounds of the season with the Danville Municipal Band; 7PM.

The Darkhorse Theatre Company Presents “Doubt: A Parable by John Patrick Shanley” December 1, 2, 3, & 9 at the Fischer Theatre – (158 N. Vermilion St., Danville) Show Time 7PM each evening.
