American Legion Post 210 Dinner – (201 Prospect Pl., Danville) Menu of Fish, Tilapia, Shrimp, Chicken, Hamburgers & Tenderloins from 5-8PM.  Public is invited!

Open Ice Skating at the Palmer Arena – (100 W. Main, Danville) 6PM

The Little Lorraine Theater Presents “Sully” - All Weekend – (324 E. Main, Hoopeston) Shows are: Friday 7:00PM; Saturday 7:00PM; Sunday 2:00PM & 4:30PM.  On January 5, 2009, Captain “Sully” Sullenberger makes an emergency landing in New York’s Hudson River.  Miraculously all survive making him a hero, but now the famed pilot faces an investigation that threatens his reputation & career.   All movies are a free will donation with all proceeds going to the Save the Lorraine Foundation.

Open Roller Skating at Illini Skateland7-10PM  Admission is $7.50 + skate rental; if applicable. Family Rate: Up to 6 persons for $35 (one adult must be present).   Lazer tag available.

New Year’s Eve Dinner, Dance & Bowling at Fast lanes & Pit Stop in Hoopeston – (719 W. Elm St., Hoopeston) 4PM-1AM Menu choices of Prime Rib, Rib eye steaks, Grilled chicken breast dinners, with children’s dinner.  We will have a bowling tournament & “Yesterdays Country” will play live; 8:30PM-12:30AM.  Reservations will be taken beginning December 23.  For more information or to make reservations, Call 217-283-6505.

Christmas Lights at Kennekuk County Park – (22296-A Henning Rd., Danville) The Bunker Hill Historic Area is decked out & open until December 31 from 5-8PM.

Christmas Lights at Christman Park in Rossville – Nightly light displays from 5-9PM through January 1, 2017.

New Year’s Eve Dinner & Dance at Westville American Legion – (115 S. State St., Westville) Reservations are required for this event!  Elegant dinner; 6:00-7:30PM.  David Booth Magic; 6-10PM.  Midnight Remedy Band; 9PM-1AM.  Cost is $45 Single, $80 Couple or $10 for the Band only.  To make reservations, Call 217-267-2342.

Open Roller Skating at Illini Skateland7-11PM; $8.50 + skate rental.  Batting cages, Miniature golf, & Lazer tag also available.

New Year’s Eve All Night Skate at Illini Skateland7PM-7AM; Admission is $50 & includes Skate rental, slice of pizza, Small Pepsi, Donuts, Juice, 1 game of Lazer tag, plus many giveaways, hats, horns, & balloon drop!  Buy advance tickets at Illini Skateland & save $10.

New Year’s Eve Party at Gao Grotto – Doors open at 8PM as we ring in the New Year with light refreshments, party favors, Champagne, & live music featuring Katapult from 9PM-1AM.
