Danville Public Library Christmas Hours – Closing at 5PM today; Closed December 24-26; and will Re-open Tuesday, December 27 at 9AM. 

Oakwood Public Library Christmas Hours – Closed December 24 – 26; and will Re-open Tuesday, December 27 at 10AM.

Sleepy Creek Vineyards Christmas Hours – Closed December 25 & 26; and will Re-open on Tuesday, December 27 at Noon.

Seniors Coffee Time at Danville Public Library – (319 N. Vermilion, Danville) 9:30-10:30AM Seniors 60+ are invited to join us on Fridays in the 1st floor meeting room for games, crafts, conversations & of course, coffee.

American Legion Post 210 Dinner – (201 Prospect Pl., Danville) Menu of Fish, Tilapia, Shrimp, Chicken, Hamburgers & Tenderloins from 5-8PM.  Public is invited!

Christmas Lights at Kennekuk County Park – (22296-A Henning Rd., Danville) The Bunker Hill Historic Area is decked out & open until December 31 from 5-8PM.

Christmas Lights at Christman Park in Rossville – Nightly light displays from 5-9PM through January 1, 2017.

Village of Tilton “Winter Wonderland” – (Carl Gruber Sport’s Complex, Tilton) Free, beautiful Christmas Light displays; 5:30-10:30PM

Open Ice Skate at Palmer Arena – (100 W. Main, Danville) 6PM

Santa to Visit in Georgetown – (Town Square) Santa Claus will visit his special house on town square; 6-8PM

A Joyful Benefit for Margaret Black at Turtle Run Banquet Center – (332 E. Liberty Lane, Danville) Margaret is recovering from cancer & we are coming together to enjoy music, laughter, friendship & a time to give back to this family this holiday season; 7PM-1AM.  This event is free but donations will be accepted at the door.  Event features the James Jones Trio, DJ Shane Canfield, Dalton Halls, Sara “SASS” Siders, Raffles & More!

Open Roller Skating at Illini Skateland7-10PM  Admission is $7.50 + skate rental; if applicable. Family Rate: Up to 6 persons for $35 (one adult must be present).   Lazer tag available.

Sandusky St., Catlin) Jared Yates will perform with the opening act featuring Salt Fork High School students; Saturday 6PM & Sunday 2PM.  Tickets are $20 per person.  Advance tickets can be purchased by calling ERH at 217-267-2331.

Doc Ashton & the Root Canals 9th Annual Big Band Extravaganza at St. James United Methodist Church – (504 N. Vermilion, Danville) Come & enjoy Christmas big band music with 2 shows; 3:30PM & 7:00PM.  Admission is Free & punch & cookies will follow the concert.
