Sugar Shack Antiques is Open Saturday & Sunday – (located at 9912 E 1980 N Rd – Oakwood/take I-74 to Oakwood exit 206 then proceed North 1 ½ miles) Sugar Shack Antiques is open the first weekend of the month from 9AM-5PM both days.  Sugar Shack Antiques offers one-of-a-kind antiques, old hunting, fishing, and western items, even antlers, hides, and horns.  You can purchase farm raised quality packaged meats from our very own KD Ranch-bison, elk, and Texas Longhorn beef.  Selections are seasonal but include: steaks, roasts, burger, brats, summer sausage, and even jerky.  Please call 217-260-9713 for more info.

Festival of Trees “Star Wars™ Adventure Lunch” at Palmer Arena – (100 W. Main, Danville) If you would like come dressed as your favorite Star Wars™ character & enjoy lunch sponsored by McDonalds, magic show with Ronald McDonald, souvenir photo taken with Star Wars™ characters; 11:30AM. The Little Lorraine Theater Presents “Cars 3” All Weekend – (214 E. Main, Hoopeston) Shows are: Friday 7:00PM; Saturday 3:00PM; Sunday 2:00PM & 4:30PM.  Lightning McQueen finds himself pushed aside from racing but plans to compete again in the Piston Cup. All movies are a free will donation with all proceeds going to the Save the Lorraine Foundation.

Festival of Trees “Wine & Painting Party” at Palmer Arena Saturday & Sunday – (100 W. Main, Danville) Carol Garver, Danville Art League, will give step by step instructions as you paint, enjoy spirits & food; 2-4PM. Cost is $35. To purchase tickets visit or box office 217-431-2424.

Festival of Trees “The Crystal Ball” at Palmer Arena – (100 W. Main, Danville) All ages are welcome & formal attire is recommended for this evening of dinner & dancing with the Brat Pack; Photographer begins at 4:30PM; Dinner & dancing 5:30-7:30PM. Tickets are $15. Advance registration is required by visiting or box office at 217-431-2424.
