The Little Lorraine Theater Presents “I’ll Push You”- All Weekend – (214 E. Main, Hoopeston) Shows are: Friday 7:00PM; Saturday 7:00PM; Sunday 2:00PM & 4:30PM.  A feature-length documentary that covers the struggle of the 34 day, 500 mile hike with 2 best friends & the challenges that come as one of them is in a wheelchair. All movies are a free will donation with all proceeds going to the Save the Lorraine Foundation.

Martin Luther King Scholarship Banquet at Days Hotel – (77 N. Gilbert St, Danville) The banquet will feature a performance by God’s Posse, a gospel group from Chicago, & will include the presentation of the $4,000 MLK Scholarship to a Danville graduating high school senior who plans to pursue an education at an institution of higher learning; 4PM. The admission fee for the banquet is $20.
