Open Ice Skating at Palmer Arena – (100 W. Main, Danville) 1PM $5 + $1 skate rental

Open Roller Skating at Illini Skateland – (8 Brewer Rd., Danville) 1-3PM & 3-5PM; $5.50 + skate rental.  Family Rate: Up to 6 persons for $35 (one adult must be present). Lazer tag also available.

Vermilion County Museum Society Holiday Open House – (116 N. Gilbert, Danville) 1:30-4:00PM In the Museum Center, Santa Claus will greet visitors & take pictures; Jodi’s Dance Unlimited will perform at 2PM; Assorted make it/take it crafts & activities for children, & light refreshments for guests. In the Fithian Home, costumed characters from Vermilion County’s past will be on hand to relate tales of the past & Danville Light Opera will provide songs in the parlor. This event is free & parking is available adjacent to the Museum. For more information, call the museum at 217-442-2922 Tuesday-Saturday from 10AM-4PM.

Red Mask Players Present Miracle on 34th Street Thursday – Sunday – (601 N. Vermilion, Danville) A classic Christmas comedy/drama based on the motion picture. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $15 per person. Performances are Thursday, Friday, Saturday 7PM; Sunday 2PM.

Bingo at the VFW #728 – (8 Pine St., Danville) 2PM

The Little Lorraine Theater Presents “The Nut Job 2, Nutty by Nature” All Weekend – (214 E. Main, Hoopeston) Shows are: Friday 7:00PM; Saturday 4:30PM & 7:00PM; Sunday 2:00PM & 4:30PM.  Following the events of the first film, Surly & his friends must stop Oakton City’s mayor from destroying their home to make way for a dysfunctional amusement park. All movies are a free will donation with all proceeds going to the Save the Lorraine Foundation.

Bunker Hill Historic Area Holiday Open House at Kennekuk County Park – (22296-A Henning Rd, Danville) The Print Shop, Atwood Home, Neff Grocery Store, Red Oak School, & Vermilion Chapel will all be open & decorated for visitors to enjoy; 2-8PM. Enjoy at this free event refreshments, cookies, holiday crafts for kids, music & more.

Danville Dashers vs North Shore Knights at the Palmer Arena – (100 W. Main St, Danville) Game Time 5PM

Pet Pictures with Santa at Danville Village Mall – (2917 N. Vermilion, Danville) 5-7PM

Catlin Parade of Lights – Beginning at Salt Fork High School & ending at Village Hall with the Annual Lighting of the Community Christmas Tree; 6PM.
