Rankin United Methodist Women’s Fall Bazaar “Snowmen Country Gathering” – (328 N. Main, Rankin) This event will feature crafts, a country store, quilt raffle & lunch from 10:30AM-1PM; Event is 8AM-1PM.

Kennekuk Road Runners 1st Annual Veteran’s Day 5K at Danville American Legion – (201 Prospect Place, Danville) A fast, flat, accurately measured 5K course around Danville residential areas; Registration 8:30-9:30AM; Race 10AM. Chili will be served in the Legion Banquet Hall & an after party with live music & door prizes. Proceeds to benefit the Danville American Legion. Cost is $10 pre- registered or $20 Race Day. Sugar Shack Antiques is Open Saturday & Sunday – (located at 9912 E 1980 N Rd – Oakwood/take I-74 to Oakwood exit 206 then proceed North 1 ½ miles) Sugar Shack Antiques is open the first weekend of the month from 9AM-5PM both days.  Sugar Shack Antiques offers one-of-a-kind antiques, old hunting, fishing, and western items, even antlers, hides, and horns.  You can purchase farm raised quality packaged meats from our very own KD Ranch-bison, elk, and Texas Longhorn beef.  Selections are seasonal but include: steaks, roasts, burger, brats, summer sausage, and even jerky.  Please call 217-260-9713 for more info.

Randy Eaton Fundraising Benefit & Memorial Ride – The Memorial Ride will leave the Satellite Bar at 2001 E. Main, Danville; Sign ups Noon; Ride 1PM. Cost for ride will be $10 per vehicle. Mission K9 Warrior Fundraiser at Georgetown American Legion – (106 E. West St, Georgetown) Festivities begin at 5PM with Hillbilly Deluxe on stage at 8:30PM. Event features a silent auction, food, & raffles to raise funds to buy & train a service dog for one local veteran with PTSD.

Night of Lights Parade in Downtown Danville – A holiday favorite, the parade will end its route at the Festival of Trees doors, where the award-winning floats will be on display; 5:30PM.

Elvis Tribute – Doug Church at the Little Lorraine Theatre – (214 E. Main, Hoopeston) Doug Church “The True Voice of Elvis” will perform; 6:30-8:30PM. Doors open at 5:30PM.
