Free Fishing Day’s June 17-20 – This event was established in 1985 to offer a chance for anglers to fish without the need of a fishing license. The Illinois Department of Natural Resources announces “No Fishing Licenses” required June 17-20, including the Inland Trout Stamp & the Lake Michigan Salmon Stamp.

Vermilion County Museum’s “Drivin’ the Dixie” – We will meet in the City Hall parking lot in downtown Danville to drive the old Dixie highway from Danville to Momence. Registration begins at 9AM & Cars depart at 10AM. Registration is Free with participants receiving a passport to be stamped at each stop for a chance to win a gas card.
