Bake Sale at Westville Depot – (S. State St., Westville) Bake Sale 8AM-1PM, Visit Santa 10AM, & Register for a treat giveaway 12:30PM.

Adopt-A-Senior Christmas Event at Danville Care Center – (1701 N. Bowman Ave., Danville)  We will be assembling gift bags & delivering them to the residents during a party where we will serve food and drinks; Gift Bag Assembly 8:30-9:30AM; Party 9:30AM-Noon.  Please register with Tom Sargent, danville@neighborlove.org or 414-919-1965 if you would like to volunteer.

Wreaths Across America Ceremony at Danville National Cemetery – (1900 E. Main, Danville) The Danville Community will gather to honor veterans during the holiday season.  Wreath laying will begin at 10AM & Congressman John Shimkus is the guest speaker at the ceremony at 11AM.

Treasure Loving Chicks “Big $1 Sale” inside Apparel Unlimited – (2412 Georgetown Rd., Danville) 10AM-1PM

Vermilion County Animal Shelter Cat & Dog Adoptions at the Village Mall – (2917 N. Vermilion, Danville) Noon-4PM

Open Roller Skating at Illini Skateland1-5PM; $6.50 + skate rental.  

Free Holiday Open House at Vermilion County Museum – (116 N. Gilbert, Danville) Come experience Christmas with costumed characters, Santa Claus, live reindeer, refreshments & special entertainment; 1:30-4:00PM.

Family Story Time with Santa at Danville Public Library – (319 N. Vermilion, Danville) Families are welcome for Story Time with Santa, magic & caroling; 2PM.  Children under 8 must be accompanied by a caregiver.

“Santa’s Little Helper” Gift Making Workshop at Lifted Up Balloon Designs Party Store – (Towne Centre, 2 E. Main, Next to Athletico) Kids, ages 3-16, are invited to a workshop to make their own Christmas gifts; 5-7PM.  Tickets are $10 each & include a personalized gift, gift wrapping, & hot chocolate.  Visit the store or online at www.eventbrite.com for tickets.

“Deck the Halls with Walter & Holly” at the Little Lorraine Theatre in Hoopeston – (214 E. Main, Hoopeston) Walter Halliwell & 2016 Miss Hoopeston, Holly Morgeson, present an hour of your favorite classic Christmas songs;  Two performance times: 5PM & 7PM.  Tickets are $5 each.  

Christmas Lights at Kennekuk County Park – (22296-A Henning Rd., Danville) The Bunker Hill Historic Area is decked out & open nightly until December 31 from 5-8PM.

Catlin Masonic Lodge 2nd Annual Christmas Concert Saturday & Sunday – (107 N. Sandusky St., Catlin) Jared Yates will perform with the opening act featuring Salt Fork High School students; Saturday 6PM & Sunday 2PM.  Tickets are $20 per person.  Advance tickets can be purchased by calling ERH at 217-267-2331.
