SUMMARY

 

This person will follow the directives of the Behavioral Health Community Programs Clinical Director in all areas of behavioral health management, implementation and productivity doing therapy remotely using Doxy to provide care to patients remotely.

 

This position is home based and requires high speed internet at the home office that meets the technical specifications to ensure quality interactions with patients.

 

Responsibilities include but not limited to: providing individual counseling sessions, reviewing productivity, assisting staff/psychiatrists in meeting productivity expectations, reviewing paper work, promoting behavioral health services to the community and with human service providers.  This position will have access to privileged information, and confidentially must be maintained at all times.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Provide remote individual counseling sessions using the Doxy platform.

 

Must facilitate remote groups following the established model

 

Work with assigned staff to ensure all clients are checked in as part of the billing process.

 

Review weekly productivity reports to determine performance gaps, and make modifications, as needed.

 

Provide the Behavioral Health Community Programs Clinical Director written and verbal reports on identified performance gaps weekly.

 

Assist in marketing behavioral health services to the community.

 

Must be willing to work some nights, and one weekend a month, or when special events and/or presentations are scheduled.

 

Attend all scheduled meetings.

 

All other duties as assigned.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBLITIES

 

This position may require the supervision of interns.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Masters in Social Work and/or Counseling 
  • Must be able to provide documentation of a being a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and/or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer literacy and ability to utilize various software programs.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Ability to arrive on time via own transportation.
  • Must be able to accept and incorporate constructive feedback, be flexible in scheduling, and have concern for youth with a strong desire to work in the human service arena.

 

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to speak, read and write both English and Spanish fluently strongly preferred in this position.  Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

 

 

 

REASONING ABILITY          

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

 

PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT 

Ability to understand and demonstrate Aunt Martha's 4-step Performance Improvement process, utilizing the methodology Plan, Do, Study, Act (PDSA).

 

JOB KNOWLEDGE

Ability to use technical skills and apply knowledge necessary for this position.

Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness while performing the duties of this position.

 

SAFETY AND INFECTION CONTROL 

Be knowledgeable about and follow Aunt Martha's safety policies and procedures.

 

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

Must have High Speed internet at home office as specified by Aunt Martha's IT department.

Current driver’s license

Current auto insurance

Reliable transportation

Valid BLS/CPR

Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) a plus

Ability to work some late evening hours, and one weekend a month.
