Position Description: 

The Outbound SDR is a high-energy, go-getter, who will proactively seek out new sales targets via phone, email, and social media. They will connect with prospects who are unfamiliar with Watchfire's services, generate interest among existing customers for replacement/upgrade, and connect qualified prospects with our Outside Sales team. The Outbound SDR will regularly coordinate with Regional Sales Managers to pursue new prospects and hand off qualified leads to the local sales team.

The Outbound SDR will report to the Business Development Manager and be part of the Business Development team. The Outbound SDR will always be on the lookout for new strategies, and they are encouraged to collaborate with their manager and teammates to reach individual and team performance goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Comfort with B2B sales prospecting via phone and email
  • Ability to become familiar with a complex, technical product
  • Willingness to learn and consistently utilize technology platforms like Salesforce, SalesLoft, and others
  • Ability to utilize remote-work technology

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales, or similar preferred
  • Associate degree or sufficient, relevant experience considered
  • 1 – 2 years of sales experience
  • Previous experience with Salesforce, Pardot, SalesLoft, or similar CRM and sales engagement tools
  • Experience with B2B prospecting
