Job Description: 

IT Support Technicians offer support to users who are experiencing problems with their computers or software. Support can be provided in person, over the phone or online. They address issues ranging from network systems to individual desktop computers. IT Support Technicians can work for computer software or hardware companies, assisting customers with products. More generally, IT support technicians can work in a company's IT department, providing computer support internally to company employees.

Qualifications: 

  • 2+ years of related experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Windows
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Associates degree in technology or a related field is a minimum requirement
  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Front line help desk support for staff of varied technical levels
  • Desktop Support for Windows - including maintenance and deployment
  • Installing, upgrading, troubleshooting, deploying all computer related equipment and phones
  • Work Daily with ticketing software to solve, triage and escalate problems
  • Maintaining equipment & supply inventory, organization, and databases
  • Researching and testing software and hardware for new deployments
  • Write and maintain documentation
  • Regularly auditing equipment and software health
  • Will work with the Application Development team on software projects as needed
  • Provide proper care and maintenance of company property, including but not limited to office, computer, and telephone equipment.
  • Requires occasional travel to customer sites, training facilities and seminars. 
  • Requires some physical ability such as moderate lifting, working on ladders and at heights, etc.
