USAW National Duals Wrestling at the Palmer Arena Saturday & Sunday - (100 W. Main St., Danville) 8AM-6PM

Gao Grotto Chicken and Noodle Dinner - (2400 Denmark Rd., Danville) 11AM-2PM, Chicken Noodle Dinner comes with mashed potatoes, green beans or corn, bread and butter, dessert, and coffee or iced tea. Price will be $7/adults and $3/kids 12 and under. All are welcome!

2015 Spring Fling Shop Hop this Friday, Saturday & Sunday - Noon-4PM, The Shop Hop will feature seven unique shops...each will offer specials and door prizes. When you begin on the Shop Hop, you will be given a Shop Hop card to get stamped at each shop you visit. If you get a stamp from each shop, you will be put in a drawing for the Grand Prize - a gift certificate from each participating shop! Participating shops include: Ms. Becky's (Homer, IL), Homer Soda Company (Homer, IL), Geschenk Boutique (St. Joseph, IL), Mercantile Antiques & Trading Co., Inc. (St. Joseph, IL), Wyldewood Cellars Winery (St. Joseph, IL), Three Crazy Crows (Potomac, IL) and The Pink Poodle and Unique Boutique (Hoopeston, IL).

Sleepy Creek Vineyards - (Located 3.5 miles south of Oakwood) Winery open Noon-6PM.  Bloody Sunday Bar has returned - create your own Winey Mary/Bloody Mary-style concoction with a wide selection of ingredients like fresh celery, pickles, olive, tomato juices, Tabasco, pepper, bloody mary mix, & more!

Oakwood High School Athletic Booster Nostalgia Basketball Tournament Friday, Saturday & Sunday - (408 S. Scott St., Oakwood) 1PM

Kennekuk Environmental Education Center open Saturdays and Sundays - (in Kennekuk County Park, 22296 Henning Rd., Danville) Open every Saturday & Sunday through October 26, 1-4PM.

Open Roller Skating at Illini Skateland 1-5PM; $6.25 + skate rental (Or 1-3PM for $5.25 + skate rental; or 3-5PM for $5.25 + skate rental).  Lazer tag also available.

Bingo at the VFW Post 728 - (8 Pine St., Danville) Every Sunday at 2PM

Vintage Villains presents "Incite" and others - (126 N. Vermilion St., Danville) Doors open at 6PM; Show at 7PM, Come out to see an awesome performance by bands: "Incite," "Vale of Pnath," "Spades and Blades," "Better Left Unsaid" and "Caecus." All ages are welcome but must be 21+ with a valid ID to drink. Advance tickets are available for $6.00 at Vintage Villains or for $8.00 on the day of the show!

Cycles Plus - The weather may still be less than desirable but that means it's the perfect time to come in to Cycles Plus and gear up for the riding season! We continue to expand our apparel section for the selection you need to keep you safe on your rides! Bring your bike to Cycles Plus and get it tuned up! All service work can be done within 24 hours depending on the job! Visit our Facebook page (search "Cycles Plus Danville") for this weekend's rides. Cycles Plus will be open 7 days a week after Easter!  Be sure to "Like" us on Facebook and look for updates and sales at the shop as well as altered ride times.  Don't forget to check out our "Destination Rides" on our website (www.cycles-plus.com) and be a part of our growing culture!  Happy riding!

Spring Used Book Sale at the Danville Public Library - (319 N. Vermilion St., Danville) 9AM-4:30PM, This huge sale includes thousands of books for children and adults, magazines, collectible books and audiovisual materials. All inventory must go in order to make room for future donations. All proceeds from the sale are used to broaden and enhance library services and to promote educational and cultural opportunities for families in our community.

Booze and Brushes-Come join the Ladies of Catlin as they get out the booze and brushes to raise money for the Catlin Splash Park. Catlin Corner Lounge (101 N. Paris Street, Catlin, IL)  1PM and 4PM.  Canvas, paint and art supplies included, instruction provided by Danville Art League. $45/ticket.  One Free drink included.  Must be 21 to participate.

SistaLife's First Pink & Teal Potluck Community Event at New Life Church of Faith Banquet Center - (1419 N. Bowman Ave., Danville) 1-4PM, SistaLife Program, funded by New Life Ministries in Danville, is having their first community event informing women of the importance of breast and cervical cancer screening. Come out to hear guest speaker Renee James-Anu - breast cancer survivor. Come to break bread and get the facts. This is a free event open to the public. Volunteers welcome.

Third Annual Potomac Fireworks Cash Bash at the Royal Community Building - 6-10PM, Tickets are on sale at the Village office for $100. The price includes dinner for 2, drinks (beer and wine), and a chance to win $5,000. Silent auction, raffles, casino games and betting boards are available for more chances to win cash and prizes. For more information, call 217-987-6900. All proceeds benefit the Potomac Independence Day Celebration. Must be 21 to be admitted.

Sleepy Creek Gong Show - (Located 3.5 miles south of Oakwood) 7PM, Our version of an open mic night! Whether you watch others perform or actually get up on the stage and perform yourself, pretty much anything goes with this event. Interested in performing your special talent?
