Memorial Day Ceremonies in Danville 9AM Spring Hill Cemetery at WW1 Veteran Curtis G. Reddens’ gravesite; 9AM at the WW1 Monument at Main & Gilbert; 9:45AM at Women’s Memorial at Hazel & Madison; 10AM Lagoon at the Veteran’s Administration to honor those lost at sea.

Kennekuk Road Runner’s Memorial Day 5K at the Veteran’s Administration – (1900 East Main St., Danville) A flat, 5K course on the roads & paved trails of the wood campus; 9AM

Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony at Danville National Cemetery – (1900 E. Main St., Danville) 10:30AM Parade of Flags; 11AM Ceremony

Hoopeston Memorial Day Ceremony10:30AM at Floral Hill Cemetery (at the Civic Center at McFerren Park if the weather is bad).

Westville American Legion Memorial Day Ceremony at Zamberletti Park – (499 IL-1, Westville) 11AM

The Little Lorraine Theater Presents “The Great Wall” - All Weekend – (324 E. Main, Hoopeston) Shows are: Friday 7:00PM; Saturday 7:00PM; Sunday 2:00PM & 4:30PM  A mercenary warrior imprisoned in the Great Wall of China joins an elite army to fight off marauding beasts. All movies are a free will donation with all proceeds going to the Save the Lorraine Foundation.
